Another great tactic many use is to post a photo on the Yellowknife lost pets Facebook page. In many cases, this is the simplest and best way to help an animal find it’s way home!

How do I make a donation?

There are three major ways to donate and be a part of the SPCAs vital mission of providing animals in our community with the safety and care they need.

  1.  By visiting our donation page here.
  2.  Through our partner, Canada Helps, a trusted non-profit that helps connect Canadian donors and charities. You can fill out an external donation form here.
  3. By dropping off money or supplies in person at the shelter. You can find a list of items we are in regular need of on our ‘wish list’ page here.
Where do I drop off recycling to donate?

Please sort all recycling into plasticcans, and glass before bringing it to the Bottle Depot. Once sorted, all donations can be dropped off at the Bottle Depot by visiting the Drop and Go kiosk. During the summer months ONLY you will be able to drop clean and sorted recycling at the NWT SPCA shelter.
