WAYS TO GIVE

From donating supplies or money, to volunteering and fundraising on your own, there are so many ways to give.

Our shelter is not funded by any level of government, and we do not have a regular, reliable income to support our programs and facility operations. We ask for the public's help with basic but essential items to enable us to do our best in keeping our animals healthy and happy.

We encourage you to buy locally to support our NWT businesses, but sometimes that is not easy if you live outside the NWT and want to help. For your convenience, we have an online Amazon Wishlist.

SPONSOR A KENNEL

The Sponsor a Kennel initiative provides a way for supporters to make a direct impact on the lives of animals in our care.

By sponsoring a specific area of the shelter, you help improve the quality of care and enhance each animal's life. Each sponsorship represents a meaningful contribution to the animals' well-being, directly supporting their comfort and care.  Whether it is ensuring cozy bedding for the cats or maintaining the safety and warmth of the dog kennels, your support makes a tangible difference.

Your sponsorship will be displayed in the designated area of your choice, and you will be sent a certificate of recognition. Various opportunities are available at different sponsorship levels and are eligible for a taxable donation receipt.

This sponsorship will be annual and sponsors will have the ability to renew each year!

Birthday

Birthday Party Fundraising

Many people today prefer donations over presents or toys. Instead, they ask their friends and family to give money or items to a non-profit. The NWT SPCA accepts both monetary donations and items from our Wishlist. We love seeing our young supporters turn their celebration into a selfless act that benefits our animals.
