THE ANNUAL FRED HENNE PARK POOP PICK-UP IS HAPPENING THIS TUESDAY — AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Each year, the GNWT asks the NWT SPCA to help with the big spring cleanup at Fred Henne Territorial Park. Over the winter, a large amount of dog waste is left behind in the park’s popular off-leash areas.
With camping season just around the corner, we want to help ensure the park is clean, safe, and welcoming for campers, families, and visitors.
To support this important community effort, the GNWT is providing the NWT SPCA with $2,500 contribution to organize and complete the cleanup — AND WE CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT VOLUNTEERS!
